My old art purifier of 10 yrs stopped working Thursday April 11th. To replace it was now $4,000 for the same model.Ouch!
Four+ hours searching for a new one online. Let me tell you it's not easy, too many models out there to choose online.
I found Jafanda JF1500 on Amazon. Coupon save $800, Awesome. I googled reviews all good.I ordered it Friday April 12th and it arrived on Sunday April 14th. I was thrilled as it's essential to my health.
It is a bit heavy, but it's on wheels easy to move and and it's fairly big, 16x16x34 ( just a heads up)
It was working great, it's quiet and the fans has lots power.
4 days after plugging it in on April 18th the red light came on(I checked the manual ,red light means filter needs to be replaced. What? It's only been on 4 days.
Yes I did read the manual again to try and troubleshoot. I unplugged both power ends and removed the filters and replaced, red light still on.
Thursday evening April 18th I googled "why is red light on",hold filter button down for 10 - 15 seconds". I did this, numerous times , the blue light came on then yellow then green then back to red. Ugh! the next morning the light was back to green. Great! Then yesterday afternoon April 21st red light again. After pressing the filter button the green light came back on???
Just a bit frustrated here.
I emailed Jafanda Customer Service On April 18th re this issue. Sadly I noticed yesterday it didn't send. Sent again and this morning April 22 II received an email on how to troubleshoot .
I hope this works as sending it back in that huge box is not going to be easy.
Overall rating I gave it a 5 as when it is working it dies what its supposed to do.

This is a really big air purifier. It comes with a HEPA filter system which I love. It's definitely bigger than I thought. It cleaned the air of my entire house of dust, smoke and unwanted orders. It's definitely worth every penny. Easy to use and set-up.

I got this large air purifier during a renovation project. When I realized the dust level circulating in the house was more than I could handle with other means. I’m so glad I got this air purifier! The first thing to realize about it is, it’s a fairly large and heavy unit, but it does have wheels and concealed handles so it’s easy to move around on one level of the house. As the product description shows, it brings in air from the front and back and purifies it through two massive filter packs, then blows the purified air out of the left and right sides of the unit. For the power that this machine has it’s fairly quiet. There are five settings of strength in the first three are very quiet, but I find that I can hear the fourth and the fifth. They don’t interfere with things like watching television, but you do hear it on the higher levels. This is a “smart air purifier”. Since I don’t have Google home or Alexa, I can’t test that. However, it does have an automatic setting where it makes some decisions about how it will run. It also displays temperature and humidity which I like. In terms of performance, it’s hard to know exactly how many small allergens is removing from the atmosphere, but it is capturing particles in a HEPA filter, and a charcoal filter. In terms of the air quality during construction in this house, it makes the air fuel cleaner, and I believe that I have fewer allergy reactions to construction dust since I started using it. It’s a large, powerful unit that can purify a large are (or very efficiently purify air in a small space). I’m very happy with it.
